Chevron Box
Material used: English Walnut and African Mahogany with Ebony stringing
Finish: Danish Oil
This box has quite simple styling, but there are a number of details which are subtle but tricky to make, the overall effect being an understated, yet different piece.
The stylistic theme is the 45 degree angle, and this can be seen on the heavy chamfering on the edges, the ebony chevrons on each corner, and the diamond on the front.
